CHAI Broomball Begins Sunday March 7th

CHAI Broomball begins March 7th @ Packer Arena.  Four Sundays in March.  League play from 4-6 and open ice from 6-7...come and check it out...opportunities to try out Ice Soccer as well!  Open to AHS and Pacelli Students. For more information contact Kirsten Lindbloom @ AHS 437-0371.

CHAI Parent Survey

Take the survey and WIN! CHAI needs to hear from you. As part f the AHS CHAI program evaluation plan we are needing to survey parents. The survey is short, it will only take a few minutes (truly). Survey questions are related to chemical health, asking your thoughts and perceptions about underage drinking. The survey is anonymous. At the end of the survey you will be taken to a second site and given the option to register for a drawing. Drawing prizes include gift cards for local retailers (Hy-Vee, Target and Wal-Mart). The drawing registration site is not connected to the original survey site and cannot be used for survey identification.

Sunday Nights 5-8 pm in Hastings
Teams of 10 (allowed an additional 2 alternates)
½ guys ½ girls
Deadline to register a team is September 23 (encourage them to sign up early – first 18 teams in and we turned away teams last year.)

(Open to AHS 9th -12th Grade Students)

Prizes will be awarded
1st Place = $50 Gift Card South Central
2nd Place = $30 Gift Card South Central
3rd Place = $20 Card South Central

We will also draw from the losing golfers each round for additional prizes (gift cards, discs and other stuff).

September 18th 5th Quarter Party

September 18th, CHAI is co-cponsoring another 5th QUARTER PARTY after the AHS Varsity Football Home Game. The party is free. There will be music, 2 wii systems (wii Resort, Mario Cart andother games) set up to play on super sized screens, other games will be set up and Packer Gym will be open for Pin Guard and Volleyball. At 10:20 we will watch the KAAL TV sports coverage on the BIG screen. Basically we are setting up the gyms for "hanging out". There will be lots to do and lots of space to just be! The gyms will open at 8:30 and we will close the doors at 11:30.
